EXCLUSIVE: Porn’s Peter Pounder Announces Return to Adult Films as a Carnal Media Exclusive

by Mark Durane

Peter Pounder quickly made a name for himself in gay porn in 2015, when he began appearing in MormonBoyz releases for Legrand Wolf. But for the last two years, he’s been in retirement.

“I started to run into issues traveling,” the Canadian citizen explains in a new interview with The Gay Goods’ editor-in-chief Mark Peikert and Carnal Media CEO Wolf. “ And there was some personal stuff with relationships.”

But now Pounder—who found a legion of fans and admirers as Elder Sorensen—is poised to make his return to adult filmmaking as an exclusive for Carnal Media.

“He’s my man crush,” Wolf says happily during the joint interview. And Pounder is eager to return to the work he loves, saying working for Wolf ”felt more like a family versus more just a studio that I worked at.”

“Its just seemed natural to have our family come back together and work together,” Wolf says of extending an invitation to Pounder to join Carnal Media and Masonic Boys.

“I was excited because I liked doing the stuff we did before,” Pounder says. “And seeing the [Masonic Boys] trailer, it reminded me of some of my past and I’m excited for more of the future. And to meet some of the people! All their content is very crisp and clean-looking, so I like that he’s kept the shooting style that I like.”

The two reminisce about the waves of attention that came their way with the launch of MormonBoyz, as well as the trickiness of navigating fantasy and consent in the world of gay porn. Pounder himself shares two instances that left him feeling violated by other performers, including an encounter in 2017 when he was awakended in the bed they were sharing by fellow porn star Topher Dimaggio

“Now at the time, I know I said I didn’t want to. I don’t know if I blatantly just said ‘No.’” Pounder was nervous to press the issue at the time, because Dimaggio had more fame. “So then sex is starting to happen and I’m not really prepared to do any of this. I didn’t have time to do my usual warming up and all this,” he says. “And at the time I was half awake and I didn’t register it all.”

Pounder adds that Dimaggio has since been accused of sexual assault by others, though at the time no one had spoken out publicly. “I spoke to people who know him now, and they say it’s one of those things where you don’t realize what you’re doing until a bunch of people point it out,” Pounder says. “So apparently I guess he’s learned.”

The other incident happened during a live cam show October 19, 2015, during which Pounder was wearing a butt plug in preparation for his first on-camera bottoming scene, scheduled for a few weeks later. “And then Austin [Wilde, owner of Guys in Sweatpants] wanted to fuck me,” Pounder says. “I think he said, ‘Oh, I’ll just put it in once’ or something like that. I can’t remember exactly. He did put it in once, then he took it right out and then that was it. And I felt a little uncomfortable but I just brushed it off…. But it wasn’t OK, there should have been more communication before it happened. And I have no idea if he realizes the boundary he stepped over there, or if he should have better communication before cam shows to avoid these issues.”

Pounder was reminded of the incident when the premiere of his on-camera bottoming video was set. “When I did my first bottoming experience at Legrand’s studio, Austin said [on social media], ‘I fucked him first. First time on my site.’ I didn’t like that, I thought that was rude.”

Pounder adds that those two instances were anomalies in his adult career, and certainly unlike anything that happened with him during his time working with Wolf. Their close relationship is a major factor in Pounder’s desire to return to studio porn, particularly with the launch of new site Masonic Boys, a reinvention of Mormon Boys.
