When it comes to slaps in the face, Dillon Diaz and Susan Lucci may use different weapons (his dick, her open palm) but the two share one thing in common: A lot of nominations that lead to no wins.
At least, that’s what Diaz jokingly says during his interview on The Gay Goodies, hosted by Gay Goods’ editor-in-chief Mark Peikert.
“I kind of feel like I have to just be satisfied with the nomination, because honestly, I feel like Susan Lucci of gay porn,” Diaz says with a laugh. “I have got nomination upon nomination upon nomination, and never an award! I’m just glad to get noticed with the rest of the guys.”
But of course he gets noticed. Not only is he one of the sexiest porn performers working today, but he also boasts a great social media presence. “I’m more myself,” he says. “When I’m on camera, ‘Dillon’ takes over and it’s a different being.”

And though he has no plans to retire from performing, Diaz—who prefers the collaboration of studio work to fan platforms—admits he’s increasingly drawn to the production side as well, particularly writing and directing for Noir Male.
This marks Diaz’s first appearance on The Gay Goodies, but he does have a past with the series. Currently in a relationship with fellow performer Jake Waters, they began dating shortly after Waters sent Diaz a link to his own Gay Goodies interview.
