Max Konnor Goes Exclusive, Jerry Douglas’ New Books, and More

The news and scuttlebutt in the gay porn world.

Max Konnor, who was nominated for Performer of the Year in all four recent gay adult awards announcements, has signed an exclusive contract with Falcon|Naked Sword. This caps a big 2020 for Konnor, who also this year launched Haus of Konnor, a gay porn talent management agency dedicated to models of color.

“I’m very excited for this new chapter in my career. It’s truly an honor to finally have a home and a family. Everyone on this team rocks and have been so kind,” Konnor said in a statement. “They value my input, and I feel like it’s the perfect place for me to be. Here’s to the future and great art making. This is gonna be fun!”

You’d be forgiven for not realizing that gay porn legend Jerry Douglas published two collections of industry interviews this year. After all, Close-Up: Interviews with the Performers of Gay Pornography and Directing Sex: Interviews with the Directors of Gay Pornography came out in the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic. But the holiday season is the perfect time to get these for yourself or the porn aficionado in your life! In Directing Sex, the 85-year-old GayVN Hall of Famer traces the gay porn industry from its 1970s beginnings to today with 53 directors, while Close-Up features interviews with 60-plus performers from decades of gay porn. Both are compiled from interviews that initially appeared in Manshots and Stallion magazines.

After proving a fan favorite in several features from Falcon, Raging Stallion, and Hot House, Sean Maygers joins Falcon|NakedSword as an exclusive model.

“I’m really excited to be the newest Falcon|NakedSword Exclusive, because I have really enjoyed the professionalism and kindness of the people behind the scenes,” says the versatile muscle stud boasting an 8-inch cock and a beefy ass. “Everyone at Falcon|NakedSword makes going to work fun! I know we’re going to do great things with this talented team, and I’m thrilled to see the scenes we can produce together.”
