Grindr makes its way into streaming content, stepping over the corpse of Quibi with the upcoming world premiere of its new series Bridesman, premiering at L.A. Outfest August 14.

Starring Jimmy Fowlie (one of the Instagays from Season 1 of The Other Two) as the “gay and awful” Terry, as he is dutifully serves as bridesmaid for his best friend despite his anti-marriage stance and sexual chemistry with the groom. Actually, he pretty quickly decides he deserves the groom more and threatens to destroy what the maid of honor has created. Along the way, secrets are revealed, parties spoiled, and presumably everything is resolved by the end.

Created by John Onieal and directed by Julian Buchan, the series stars Fowlie, Sydnee Washington, Shannon DeVido, Crystal Porter-Bazemore, Megan Chelsea Johnson, David Mudge, and Calvin Seabrooks.

Bridesman also screens August 15–17.
