The Queer Games Bundle, an annual initiative to support LGBTQ+ artists and developers, has concluded with remarkable success, raising a total of $81,394.05. Because of this, when spread across both bundle pages, the amount translates to approximately $324 per creator.
Our final total across both bundle pages is $81,394.05, or about $324 per creator (minus a handful who choose not to receive payment).
I’m so, so pleased with this — and thank you again to everyone who shared, who bought the bundle, who talked about it anywhere.

The bundle, available on itch.io, featured nearly 500 games, software, and zines created by 271 queer artists. Then, it sold at a standard price of $60—equivalent to the cost of a typical AAA game—with a sliding scale option of $10-$20+ for those unable to afford the full price.
“If we had the budget of an AAA game, we could give every solo developer in this bundle a livable wage multiple times over for a year and every single team a massive funding boost,” as quoted by the organizers on the bundle’s landing page. “Imagine what the developers and artists in this bundle could create a year from now if they weren’t worried about starving or how to pay their rent this month.”
